I Need Adobe Cs El Capitan Upgrade To SierraI do not get the application frame.Maybe I should have incremented the OS upgrade to Sierra and then High Sierra but too late now.I know Photoshop CS6 works on High Sierra as this is what I have on my Macbook Air and it runs flawlessly.I have done a trial load of Photoshop 2018 CC (lastest version as a trial). I can get the menus to drop but I get no action at all. Now Photoshop CS6 fails to load properly.Well it runs and loads but appears as a shadowed application. For answers to questions about compatibility between Mac OS X 10.11 and Creative Cloud applications, see Mac OS X El Capitan compatibility FAQ. CS6 and earlier programs HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED AND WILL NOT BE UPDATED for Mac El Capitan or newer operating systems-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems due to Apple updates-this is about CS6 (which is from 2012) but it will probably apply to other programs of that ageI am currently in UK and in an idle moment I upgraded it from ElCapitan (10.11.4) to High Sierra (10.13.6).If you have an older version of Mac OS X, upgrade your operating system.Older versions of Adobe software will all become increasing dodgy as operating systems upgrade, and Adobe sure won't fix 'em. Assuming that there was nothing dodgy going on, they ticked the box, and Photoshop worked again. As I say, I don't know whether this applies in your case, but it won't harm to check, eh?(I run CS5, and after upgrading to High Sierra, it opens OK and runs OK, but when I close it, it always crashes with a 'Photoshop quit unexpectedly' error, which I just ignore. I can see similar reports but some people tried various spurious stuff and then it worked but there was no consistent fix solution so I am left with using my Photoshop 2018 CC Trial until I get a fix or it expires.Does anyone know of a fix for this problem?I'm not sure whether this applies to CS6 and High Sierra, but have a look in System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Accessibility: I've read that people upgrading to Mojave have found that Adobe Photoshop CS5 was listed there with the request “Allow the apps below to control your computer”. Still no joy.I had a call to Adobe Tech Support but they couldnt solve it and they escalated it to second level Technical Support.I await their call which should have been today but will be tomorrow now!I have been through all the Adobe KB entries that I can find but no joy there. I have reinstalled all the Apple and Oracle Java patches.![]()
